Evil designs and conspiracies being hatched by former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza are actually aimed against President Asif Zardari and the MQM will not allow them to materialise, a Muttahida delegation told the media at Pir Pagara’s residence.
Party members were at the Kingri House to wish PML-F chief Pir Pagara on his 83rd birthday. The delegation comprised Senator Babar Khan Ghauri, Waseem Aftab and IT Minister Raza Haroon. The MQM leaders had brought gifts for the seasoned politician.
Speaking to the media, the MQM members assured the journalists that the PPP and the MQM intended to continue with their reconciliatory policy. The delegation also vowed to stand by Zardari through thick and thin.
